Meet our Pastors

Lead Pastor – Dave Rock

Hi! My wife, Jules, and I have been blessed to serve at Church by the Bay since 2009. After moving from Queensland, we found a warm and vibrant church family that has shaped our lives and our four sons, two of whom—Caleb and Josh—remain active in the CBTB community.

We’re passionate about sharing the transformative power of Jesus, believing His Gospel brings hope and restoration to every area of life. Jules, a nurse educator, helps people connect to our church, organises our annual Community Carols, and serves as secretary for Foundation 61, a local drug and rehabilitation ministry.

I am devoted to raising the next generation of Christian leaders who are passionate about God’s Kingdom. I love seeing people thrive in the calling and gift God has for them. At CBTB, we’re blessed with many emerging leaders, and I also coach and supervise other leaders locally and beyond.

Central to our church are our life groups—small communities where people grow in discipleship, care for one another, and live out their faith. We also value unity across the Bellarine Peninsula, partnering with other churches to share the hope of the Gospel.

If you’re new to the area or seeking where God is calling you to worship, we’d love to help you find your spiritual home—whether with us at CBTB or another local church.
