Kid’s Church

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)

Seekers (age 3 to grade 5) take place each Sunday during Church. A program during the school holidays is also available for the children. These programs are available for children of both our church families and those visiting.

With a large number of young families at Church By the Bay we see the importance of sending our children into ‘the world’ with an understanding of the Gospel, God’s love for them, confidence to stand up for their faith and understanding their identity in Christ. Winning our children’s hearts for God so that they don’t just know about God but know God personally and have a relationship with their Heavenly Father.

Some of the topics we have covered in previous years are:

• In the beginning God created the Earth.
• Why did God create me?
• Prayer changes things.
• Jesus, born in a stable to Jesus, resurrected.

It is such a privilege for us, as a Children’s ministry team, to serve our children. Their child like faith is so wonderful to witness. We have a passionate team of leaders and helpers who love upon our children each week.
